We really do seem to luck out, don't we? Although to be honest, I don't write about the disasters--only the good ones! I think the other place you are referring to might be a lovely B&B we stayed at on the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland called Sea Villa. It was wonderful, too. What a lovely spot to land! I think you both have a magic hotel-accommodation genie who miraculously finds you the best in show. This place is magical, the hosts sound so accommodating, and your dinners and breakfasts exquisite. The luck of this accommodation reminded me a bit of an earlier spot you located, a BnB I think, where the hosts were super charming and the place so lovely too. (but can't recall where it was). You guys are lucky travelers!

This all looks absolutely beautiful, and reminds me a bit of villages in Aveyron, where I live in France. Obviously the architecture and the landscape is somewhat different, but this place has that "isolated paradise" feel.

It is beautiful. I am sure there are many other places in Europe that would have an isolated paradise feeling as well!

Yes...thousands, certainly. I could likely come up with hundreds just in my broader region of France.

That's just one reason living in Europe is so wonderful, isn't it?

What a unique discovery, a real treasure. It would be fun to stay there for a week or so in order to be able to explore the area in more detail.
