I have been to Mallorca long time ago, probably 15 years ago, I remember that I loved too the Serra! And I remember the wooden tram! Thank you for sharing!!
This is such a lovely piece Clarice, with a great balance between history, geography, personal experiences. We've been talking about visiting Mallorca again and this has made us more determined to go.
This was a very enjoyable virtual visit, as was your earlier post sharing some of the fascinating history of Mallorca. Your excellent photos and the details of what you ate and did and where you stayed inspire me to want to follow in your footsteps. Thanks for a lovely piece!
Yes. In fact, if I'm not wrong, I think the oranges are ripe throughout the year. We helped ourselves to some of the oranges surrounding the disastrous finca that we stayed in the first night in Soller and then bought a juice press so we could make our own fresh juice in our hotel room. And every cafe serves fresh-pressed orange juice wherever you go.
WOW- wonderful, informative, heartfelt and urging me to visit and enjoy each location asap! Thank you!
You're welcome!

What a wonderful place to visit. Were the oranges ripe when you were there and did you sample any?
