Is it like that in Italy, too?! In Austria, it was kind of a happy medium. I was alone in the room with my male doctor, but I only took off what was necessary when it was necessary--no "perp" walk! On the other hand, if you want to use a sauna in Austria, you have to be naked. Clothes of any sort are not allowed...
