Dear Readers,
I just wanted to let you know that I am taking a short break from publishing stories here. Not because I want to, but because I literally broke a bone in my right arm last week. The arm is now tied down by a body harness, which means I can only hunt and peck on the keyboard with my non-dominant left hand.
My husband and I were visiting my beloved Vienna last week, which I planned to write about here. Unfortunately, the second day we were there, we were racing to catch a train when I tripped and went sprawling across the platform—just as the train left the station!
Note to future self: Remember that you are the opposite of a gazelle and refrain from rushing somewhere in a panic because it never ends well…
I will return to sharing stories with you here in three weeks or so. In the meantime, I hope you all have a lovely September.
Clarice
Very sorry to hear about your injury, Clarice! I am coming to terms with the knowledge that my husband (who truly is a gazelle—or at least has the long legs of one) will always be many steps ahead of me and perhaps catch a train that pulls off without me. Wishing you rapid and complete healing ❤️🩹 and a rewarding break from routine. Looking forward to your next post whenever it comes.
Heal well and stay strong Clarice!!! I'll be right here when you return. You can tell us about your trip then! Love yaaaa
